Soldier General Duty: Passed class 10th /Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Soldier Technical: Passed 10+2 / Intermediate exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier Clerk /Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management: Passed 10+2 / Intermediate exam in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Soldier Tradesman: Passed class 10th but should have scored min 33% in each subject.
Soldier Tradesman: Class 8th pass but should have scored min 33% in each subject (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
Age Limit:
Soldier General Duty: 17 ½ -21 years (born between 01 Oct 1998 to 01 Apr 2002)
All others: 17 ½ -23 years (born between 01 Oct 1996 to 01 Apr 2002)
Physical Standard:
Height: Soldier Technical- 157 cm, all other- 160 cm.
Chest: 77 cm (+5 CM expansion)
Weight: 48 Kgs
Selection Procedure:
i) Physical Fitness Test
ii) Physical Measurement
iii) Medical Test
iv) Common Entrance Exam (CEE).
