Eligibility Criteria For BPCL Recruitment

Educational Qualification & Experience:
1.Chemist Trainee: Passed M.Sc (Chemistry) with 60% marks preferably in Analytical Chemistry from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

Post Qualification Experience 
Should have a minimum of one year work experience/ one-year post-qualification apprenticeship training in a relevant field in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/ Petrochemical / Fertilizer /Chemical Industry.

2.Operator Trainee: Passed Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology (Full-time) with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

Post Qualification Experience 
Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operation or a major petrochemical unit within a petroleum refinery. 

3.General Workman-B (Trainee) - CHEMICAL 
Passed Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology (Full-time) with minimun of 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

Post Qualification Experience 
Should have minimum 1 year relevant work experience/ one-year post-qualification apprenticeship training (in a relevant field) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Industry, of repute. 

4.General Workman-B (Trainee) - MECHANICAL 
Passed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full time) with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute. 

5.General Workman-B (Trainee) - ELECTRICAL 
Passed Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Full-time) with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute

6.General Workman-B (Trainee) - INSTRUMENTATION 
Passed Diploma in Instrument Technology OR Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering OR Instrumentation & Control (Full-time) with minimum of 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute. 

Post Qualification Experience
Should have minimum of 1 year work experience/ one-year post-qualification apprenticeship training (in a relevant field) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer / Engineering Industry, of repute. 

Pay Scale: 
For post 1,2- Rs.13500 - Rs.31000 
For post 3-6- Rs.11500 - Rs.20000

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2018): 18 years to 30 years 

Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC(NCL) candidates
