Passed matriculation with 3 years Diploma (full time) in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics & Instrumentation discipline Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute.
Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler)
Passed matriculation and 3 years Diploma in Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute with 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
Attendant cum Technician (Trainee)
Passed matriculation and passed All India Trade Test conducted by NCVT, Govt. of India after completing the stipulated period of training as Trade Apprentices in an Integrated Steel Plant.

Attendant cum Technician (AITT) - Rs.150/-
For SC/ ST/ PwD/ ESM/ Departmental candidates: Nil
Age Limit (as on 11-10-2019):
OCTT- up to 28 years
OCT (Boiler)- up to 30 years
ACTT- up to 28 years
Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is relaxable as per govt rules.
